A refined pair of 19th century porcelain plates, each featuring an underglaze blue six-petaled floral medallion at the center, enclosed within a narrow geometric band. A matching band encircles the rim. The main field of each dish is subtly decorated with incised chrysanthemum flowers, visible beneath the glaze, executed with elegant precision and lending a tactile sophistication to the surface. The reverse remains undecorated. Very good condition with minor surface specks and natural kiln firing marks, one plate has two small glaze crazing spots at the reverse side.
