ANTIQUE CHINESE QING DYNASTY / EARLY REPUBLIC PERIOD ORANGE-GROUND EMBROIDERED SILK LADY’S ROBE
Calf-length garment with center-front opening fastened with four black ball-and-loop toggle buttons, straight sleeves ending in square cuffs, slit sides. Finely embroidered with traditional floral and auspicious patterns using polychrome silk and couched gold threads, intensive utilization of forbidden stiches and goldwork. Worn in conjunction with a skirt. In vibrant colors, with no sign of being used, in great condition with only very few loose threads. Please contact us for more information.
