Antique Chinese hand mirror with a silver-plated oval mirror mount featuring a decorative openwork rim, backed by a large carved jadeite plaque depicting a phoenix amid peony blossoms in pale celadon and purple tone. The handle is formed from a jadeite belt hook, smoothly polished with natural green inclusions, fitted with a carved jadeite button and engraved silver-plated fittings. Jadeite elements intact with natural inclusions and no visible cracks; silver-plated mount showing surface wear and patina, in overall very good condition consistent with age.
