A finely potted Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl, dating to the Transitional period (mid-17th century), late Ming to early Qing dynasty. The exterior is vividly painted with a horse standing in a rocky landscape beneath fluttering insects and stylized foliage. The interior features a central medallion of a pomegranate, a symbol of fertility and abundance, with a double-line border, with a slightly everted rim and sits on a neatly finished footring.
