An impressively large and rare antique Chinese Kraak porcelain bowl with alternating panels of floral sprays and auspicious objects around the cavetto and exterior, all surrounding a central medallion depicting birds among flowering branches in a rocky landscape. A textbook piece of early Chinese export porcelain. Impressive in scale and visual complexity. One crack and small missing at the top rim with an associated Y-shaped hairline extending downward toward the center of the bowl. Overall good condition consistent with age.
