ANTIQUE CHINESE YELLOW-GLAZED AND INCISED DRAGON CUP, SIX-CHARACTER CHENGHUA MARK

The cup is delicately potted with gently flaring sides rising from a short foot. The exterior is covered in an even yellow glaze and finely incised with two striding five-clawed dragons amidst scrolling clouds, all rendered with fluid precision. The interior is glazed white, while the base is inscribed with a six-character Chenghua reign mark in underglaze blue within a double circle. Condition: a J shaped hairline originating from the edge of the mouth rim and a 2 mm glaze dent to the mouth rim, otherwise in great condition. Please contact us for more information.
