Bidders can participate in our auctions through telephone, written absentee and online live bidding.
Prior to a sale, all bidders must register with Juliet and Friends in person or online to participate in bidding. Prospective buyers are strongly advised to personally examine any property in which they are interested before a auction takes place. To participate in our auctions through bidding on liveauctioneers.com, you need to set up a liveauctioneers.com account and register for our upcoming auctions. Once approved, you can place absentee bids for lots listed in an online catalogue on liveauctioneers.com or bid live when an auction is live.
Bidders can also participate in our auctions through written absentee and telephone bidding. A $500 deposit is required for arrangements for written absentee bids and telephone bidding lines. Please contact us to deposit arrangements. If same bidding amounts, a written absentee bid has priority over an online internet live bid and telephone bid, because a written absentee bid is placed first, ahead of internet live bid and telephone bid.
For all in-house bidding and written absentee bidding, a premium of 22% of the successful bid price will be added thereto and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price. Telephone biddings are available only for lots with estimated values above $1000 and 2% of service charge will be added to the hammer price for labor cost, thus a premium of 24% will be added to the hammer price for a lot won through telephone biddings. All online bidding through Liveauctioneers.com will have a premium of 27% added to the hammer price for a lot won. Please bid cautiously and make payment promptly if you win to maintain your excellent bidder profile. Please be aware that any nonpayment can be seen by all the auction houses and bring a negative impact on a bidder's future auction registrations if any disputes are filed against a bidder.
